Well son, let me tell you a story…
There once was a great rapper from Bedstuy that was so good at rapping other people called him THE GREATEST. He was also very confident in his abilities and started calling himself a Rap Phenomenon and other names. After his untimely murder, Jay Z started stealing that Rappers lines and his monikers. Most people in hip hop did not say “hey that belongs to Biggie” they just championed Jay Z because there was an empty spot in NYC, that needed to be filled. Additionally buddying up to Jews in the business helped solidify whatever it was that Jay Z wanted to do, nicknames, numbers, albums, performances… they helped him solidify himself as what we see today… and that is HOW, not because he’s sonically or lyrically THE BEST, but because he TOLD US & anyone that rebuttal him was silenced in some way.
Peace to #Canada. I hands down beleive when it comes to music taste DJ "Ruby Jane" is a raw beyond comparison. Live mixes that include funk @ real hip hop. 🫡🔥
