wrapping up my first day with the iPhone Duo
a lot of my main apps don't work right. the button to add my card to apple wallet in wealthsimple was completely covered up. similar themes with a lot of the apps I use daily.
slowly figuring out my algorithm for how to use this device
kinda regret the purchase so far.

been thinking of how to make a more interesting "gallery". this is such an interesting take. saved it to personal.site
i think what could be really interesting here is once I open source this people can add the weirdest gameplay mechanics and the most random details. imagine delivering uber eats on an ebike in Neo Toronto.

new Wabi onboarding is really nice. immediately hits you with tasks to work on that wouldn't be super obvious to you from the get. solves the blank screen problem really well. wonder if this will hit for normies.

Watched "You Can See Everything" and I've never seen a documentary like this. Probably the best movie I've seen this year. Throughout the whole thing I had to keep reminding myself that most of the people I was watching weren't paid actors. When a scene gets completely absurd you have to stop and remind yourself holy shit, these are real people.
It feels like the culmination of everything Nathan Fielder was doing in The Rehearsal mixed with the long-running pop culture moments from the Theranos situation.
The weirdest part is it feels like Nathan Fielder is the main character of his own documentary. You're just following him around while he tries to figure out what he thinks about any of it.
