NEW: Lane Kiffin doubles down on his decision to leave Ole Miss for LSU:
"I’ve never thought twice about this decision."
He added: "To see that we played already as well as anybody in the country at times and be a really dangerous team, we’re able to do that in an offseason like we’ve never had before. We got here, and then our coaches are still coaching there and going back and forth, and didn’t know our current players on the team previously. So, as crazy as it sounds, we will always have better rosters than we do this year."

Has continued to make good progress and may be able to return to practice next week, sources tell @CBSSports.
Even possible he could end up returning to game action as soon as next week vs. Alabama.
More on injured LSU star LB Whit Weeks:
The initial hope is that he could possibly return in the next 4-6 weeks or so but there will be a better feel for the recovery timetable and whether that’s realistic coming out of his surgery tomorrow, sources tell me and @AYSSPORTS
