I've got some networking books to give away. Pick up in person from Eastbourne or happy to post within UK. Send me a DM if interested.

Linux computer networking interviews are probably the hardest to prepare for due to the lack of up-to-date practical materials. Books usually provide only basics. In my new posts I tried to address IPv4 and IPv6 dual-stack apps, resolvers and internals biriukov.dev/docs/resolver-d…

Hi folks. One of the groups that I am the tech lead has two network engineering positions available — based out of Atlanta. The group is responsible for rethinking how we define, test and deploy network devices. 1/3

This is probably the most approachable Linux network programming resource I’ve come across yet: beej.us/guide/bgnet/

I just wrote my ambitious #golang blog post yet! It has taken me weeks to put together; this blog post had me going through my bookcase, all the bookmarks I have made since 2018 and watching 10s of hours of YouTube videos and courses. I really hope it is useful to you! It has a bunch of content for those learning golang this year at every level, from beginner to senior. It features both free and paid content from: - @joncalhoun - @ardanlabs - @bitfield - @mmontagnino - @incident_io (@lawrjones) - @felixge - @dominicstpierre - @golangweekly - @AppliedGo - @GoTimeFM - @Todd_McLeod and probably others I missed :) Thanks folks for all the great content and all you do for the Go community. bytesizego.com/blog/learning…

New blog: High-Speed Packet Transmission in Go - a journey from net.Dial, to Raw sockets, AF_PACKET, and lightning-fast AF_XDP 🚀. It should be a fun read if you like networking, Go, and benchmarking. See how we hit 186Gb @ 18.8Mpps with just 8 cores. toonk.io/sending-network-pac…

If you use Go, your entire app can be a single statically linked binary. Lots of tutorials out there drop such a "self-sufficient" binary into an empty container image and call it a day. But is building a container image `FROM scratch` a good idea? 🤔 labs.iximiuz.com/challenges/…

I’ve gone through first few chapters. Can’t agree more, it’s turning out to be a great book so far. A several notch higher in value than other technical books and shows the effort and dedication that’s gone behind the creation. Big thanks to the authors.
