Been up the hospital for 7 hours with my nan and honestly, I'm absolutely disgusted by the way some patients speak to and treat NHS staff. The rudeness, entitlement and sheer lack of respect is unbelievable. These people are working flat out, doing their best in an overstretched

system, and still have to put up with abuse from the very people they're trying to help. Have some manners, show some respect and remember they're human beings too. It's disgraceful. The NHS staff deserve so much better. 🤬👏

What do we really need? A budget for roofers, midwives, electricians, plumbers, bricklayers, mechanics, farmers, fishermen, hairdressers, market traders, lorry drivers, postmen, factory workers, nurses, engineers, soldiers, carers, teachers, bin men, shopkeepers, entrepreneurs, pub landlords, the self-employed and more. For the people who keep our economy running, who keep our country going. Not the indolent, not the scroungers, not the foreigners. But the workers. The ones getting up at 5.30am, struggling to get the kids ready for school on time. Constantly thinking, worrying, stressing. Putting in the hours to provide for their family. Sometimes moaning, but always doing. Always working. Always trying. The real working class. That's who I'm backing, and that's who Restore Britain is backing.

Raining the minimum wage sounds great in theory, and everyone deserves fair pay. But there’s another side people often overlook. When wages rise, businesses face higher payroll costs on top of rent, energy, stock, business rates and taxes. Small businesses often have little

A pay rise only truly benefits people if their purchasing power increases. If your wages go up but food, bills, rent and everyday essentials rise with them, are you really any better off? Fair wages matter, but so does keeping small businesses alive and prices affordable.

costs through reduced profits or cut back on investment. And this is the problem: businesses cannot endlessly absorb higher costs, but they cannot endlessly increase prices either. Eventually, customers reach a point where they simply cannot afford to spend any more.

Some businesses then face reduced sales, fewer working hours, less recruitment or the possibility of closing altogether. A pay rise only genuinely improves someone's standard of living if their purchasing power increases. If wages rise by 5% but the cost of the things people buy
