A €500 million release clause is not a price tag. It is a retention tool disguised as one.
What the Alvarez saga tells us about player contracts and why every professional footballer needs a lawyer at the negotiating table, not just an agent.

“Don’t force your candidate on me”
I go force PETER OBI on you people like mad. 🙄
It’s a strategy!
Fill the air with hopelessness so people won’t go out to vote!
But we can and we will!!!

Meanwhile after @CCND9ja forced INEC to open the Voter Register Online.
They went to the US embassy, UK embassy and European Union with letters against INEC.
It's time to stop tweeting and start working.
They'd be dropping details on their handle soon.

Please, this should be an advice to our party coordinators.
I know we usually copy Peter Obi's campaign strategy in campaign.
But, please nobody should copy this market-to-market campaign ooo.
As a Tinubu supporter, if you try this kind market campaign, you fit land in the ICU.
EBONYI STATE: SECURITY, CORRUPTION, NATIONAL UNITY AND THE DIGNITY OF EVERY NIGERIAN
My grassroots sensitisation tour brought me to Ebonyi, the Salt State, today, 29th October 2026, following yesterday’s visit to Akwanga, Nasarawa State, as our nationwide Town Hall Series continues.
In Ebonyi, I made a stop at Nkalagu and Ezillo to greet and acknowledge our supporters and briefly visited the market in Ezillo, where I interacted with our hardworking women who trade and bring farm produce to market.
In Abakaliki, I joined our party supporters on a road walk to the venue of our town hall meeting.
At the town hall, participants raised concerns about insecurity, particularly kidnapping and banditry; corruption; government borrowing; and the deteriorating condition of our hospitals, schools, and other essential amenities.
The most touching contribution came from a participant representing persons living with disabilities, who spoke about the challenges they face and the apparent lack of adequate support from government and society.
I assured the participants that, upon election, our foremost priorities will be to unite the country, decisively tackle insecurity and confront corruption, while pulling our people out of poverty.
To our brothers and sisters living with disabilities, I reiterated that the compassion of a nation is measured by how it treats its most vulnerable citizens. We will work with state governments to ensure their inclusion, proper care and dignity.
We will also invest massively in education and healthcare, including at least one fully functional primary healthcare centre in every political ward across Nigeria, while working to reduce the cost of living and expand opportunities for all.
I sincerely thank the participants, our party members, the organisers and the good people of Ebonyi State for their warm reception, enthusiasm and active participation.
A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO

These online folks should understand something. It's not our posts that are selling Peter Obi. Peter Obi is a retail politician. He sells himself.
So when you wake up and feel too important, know that you are almost irrelevant to the OBIdient movement.

That “NDC Ka Mma” viral song is the fastest & cheapest hack to drill down the NDC name into the hinterlands for women and hinterland voters.
It does a far faster PR job in promoting NDC Name than 30B Naira worth of posters & billboards could have done.
Obi is always Smart. ✅

I have been stumbling on Zekeri’s videos recently on social media platforms, & bro, I’m going to say this unapologetically that all the young people who left Peter Obi from 2022 to date combined are not equal one Zekeri.
Obi struck a goldmine.

Whenever Wike or any of them want to drag each other, they talk about how they steal/how much they stole etc
Peter Obi is the only politician whose criticism starts & ends at “he’s pretending”.
"He [Rotimi Amaechi] came and said he was going to fumigate Rivers State. He paid 10 million U.S. dollars. If you allow him to be Vice President, will he fumigate Nigeria too?"
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has questioned how much was spent on projects during Rotimi Amaechi’s time as Rivers State governor.

I will not join the campaign of despair. No, the APC hasn’t won. They cannot win. Power resides where we believe it does, and I still believe it lies with the people.
