Your reminder that Sayso is:
- Lighter that Wispr Flow
- Fully on device with super low latency transcriptions
- Can connect to your existing Claude or Codex account for AI enhancement
- Cross platform, including support for WMs like Hyprland on Wayland
- Fully free and open source
Check it out at justsayso.app
Or you could go with something completely free, open source, and on device. Nothing hits the cloud unless you choose.

We're removing the 5-hour limit for verified Ultra accounts.
We’re renaming our Max plans:
Max 5x → Max
Max 20x → Ultra
Max is still $100/month, and Ultra is still $200. If you’re a subscriber, there’s nothing you need to do.
We’re also removing the 5-hour limit for verified Ultra accounts, starting today with most existing subscribers. Newer accounts keep a temporary limit until they’re verified, which helps us prevent fraud and abuse. You'll get an email when it's removed.
Weekly limits remain unchanged. View our plans here: claude.com/pricing
At this point, I do feel like Sayso way outranks what I had built with Pindrop and is even an improvement on Wispr Flow
Try it out if you haven't already:

Working on 2 pretty awesome things this week in relation to my dictation app Sayso:
1. I've wanted to add things like meeting capture, note-taking, and other things that used to be in Pindrop, the app of which Sayso is a successor, but I don't want to bloat the app. So Sayso will support extensions in the very near future.
2. In updating Sayso for extensions, I've also created a Rust SDK (maybe coming to other languages in the future) which allow external programs to make use of Sayso's engine (which is now downloadable by itself).
Basically you can now use Sayso to add dictation to other apps, and it comes with cross platform support, the ability to download a whole host of open source models, and a lot more.

JUST IN: Palmer Luckey's genetically modified military dog startup, Warhound, comes out of stealth, aiming to create enhanced canines for the U.S. military.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This is NOT Palmer's company at all, his company Anduril is only supplying the tech for the dogs, and this is a wholly owed Collosal entiity
