Lucy, the Labour Party just called an entirely unnecessary by-election in Makerfield which could trigger a Mayoral election in Manchester at a cost of up to £5m.
Probably best to sit this one out
Not another one… Despite voters going to the polls just weeks ago, a number of Green councillors across London have already stood down - meaning costly, unnecessary by-elections. Tonight I’ve been with @ClaphamParkLab candidate Louie Somerville Sutherland and team speaking to residents about how committed he is to the area for a by-election on 9th July.
