Today, I used @safepal X1 to connect to Jumper Exchange via @WalletConnect. The app prompted me to add some coins first to connect, but unfortunately, the device doesn't support them. Dead end. 🚫
Even though those coins are supported, adding them to my wallet is messy.
WalletConnect lets dApps specify required and optional blockchains. @coolwallet users can easily select the chains using an intuitive UI.

6/ One lesson our industry needs to do better with is not causing confusion with products when you offer both custodial and non-custodial products.
The XRP victim thought they were using the Ellipal cold wallet product when it was a hot wallet.
Frequently I see large Coinbase support impersonation thefts where victims transfer funds from their CB exchange account to a compromised CB wallet after being social engineered.
After hose victims sometimes state they did not know the difference between products.
