Happy to share that after 3 years of hard work, our paper on precision prognostics of gestational diabetes mellitus is published, as part of a larger series of systematic reviews for the ADA/EASD Precision Medicine in Diabetes Initiative. Link to paper in comments!

Another exciting study. In this analysis of Latino/Latina adolescents at high risk of #NAFLD/#MASLD in the HEROES cohort, we show that lipopolysaccharide binding protein (#LBP) is a viable biomarker of NAFLD progession/risk, as indicated by hepatic fat fraction and liver volume.

Pumped that this paper is finally out there: maternal experiences of racial bias & discrimination predict slower epigenetic aging in offspring from birth through mid-childhood. Does this reflect a #lifehistorytradeoff? Will it reverse after puberty? Follow-up studies will tell.
