Life in prison is an injustice for murder
They should be swiftly put to death. No longer than 1 year confined as a tax burden is beyond generous for them
UC San Diego PhD student told police that she had the urge to murder children after beating her friend's newborn baby to death.
Nicole Virzi has pleaded guilty to murdering her friend's 6-week-old baby and injuring his twin brother.
Virzi, 32, was babysitting her friend's baby boy in their Pittsburgh home while the parents took the twin to the hospital due to injuries to his genitals.
It was later discovered that the injured twin had been harmed by Virzi.
"So when I was alone with Leon, I shook him a couple times, hard. And I dropped him a couple times, hard," she admitted during a 13-hour interrogation.
She said she flipped the baby upside down on the bathroom floor.
"Something just came over me. I couldn’t control it. I’m telling you this because I can’t keep lying about it."
"From a very, very young age, I don’t know what it is, but I always had this urge, almost like a compulsion I can’t control, to hurt kids," she told police.
The baby suffered a skull fracture and later died.
Virzi will spend 35 to 80 years behind bars.

They’re literally about to put a man away in Indiana for 50+ years because he killed a rapist who was released early and assaulted a beloved family member.
We live in a broken world. The reason there is so much animosity towards the government, be it Republican or Democrat is cases like this.
A man trying to get justice for what was done, but was denied justice, and then the perpetrator is let walk free..
You disgusting politicians are going to have to give us a solid reason to preserve the government that you are party to, or eventually this will boil over and we will burn it all down just to feel some warmth again.
There is no reason a man who was trying to settle a score like this should be convicted and sent to prison. It’s the justice system that is time and again proving itself to illegitimate.
WE are not the extremists for saying it. Keep denying good people the balance of justice and there will be no reason to preserve any of you.
