Bought @heydigit comprehensive insurance for my mom’s Tiago EV.
The car was parked when the area flooded with rain. It wasn’t started or charged afterwards, and we had it towed straight from there to the workshop.
On inspection, the workshop found water inside the e-drive. It had to be sent to the Tata plant for repair.
Digit is now rejecting the e-drive claim. They say it’s “consequential loss” from water ingress and “continued operation,” and that I’d need a Transmission add-on for it to be covered.
There was no continued operation. The car was parked, flooded, and towed. Flood is a named, covered peril in the base policy. If water entering a flooded car doesn’t count as flood damage, what does the flood cover actually pay for?
We will file a grievance, and go to IRDAI and the Insurance Ombudsman if needed.

Building solo is scary, crazy, and amazing at the same time. Been doing it for the last 1.5 years.
Product, tech, sales, customer support, finance: I do just about everything.
Automated a bunch of it with @bot.
But something crazy I've been realizing: a lot of the internal processes I turned into tools are full-blown companies out there.
I built a tool that tests platforms at scale to understand how behavior changes.
Built another that simulates users by persona to get the UX right, and it's almost always right.
Then I came across startups whose entire product is exactly that.
I built all of it for Murphy at first. As side projects came along, I rebuilt it from a bigger perspective.
Building been fun for the past 1 year.
If we are giving @1Password access to agent, can't we figure out how to give APIs and secrets to agents for them use it in env files, it doesn't need to be manual.
Was trying to find a card to test how agents can transact, and checked out @agentcardhq since I’ve seen the founders active here.
Saw that it’s priced at $5k/month, and I’m genuinely curious about the rationale behind that pricing. Very few card products charge anywhere close to that, outside of AMEX and a handful of premium cards.
Is this essentially a prepaid card with a $5k minimum load, or is the $5k purely the monthly platform fee?
Trying to understand the model.
I am not happy with terrorist using AI for weapons but there's no way you can stop the, A company like anthropic with is so cautious about safety is not able to stop them, imagine them getting access to SOTA open weights model with a limited GPU capacity can do so much.
But there's NO STOPPING it, once something is out in the world there's no way you can control who uses it and who doesn't, it's totally possible where a radical student works on research how to run and train models or an Anthropic or OpenAI researcher gets radicalised or blackmailed or honey trapped into working with terrorists.
