After spending nearly FOUR YEARS in federal prison for committing no crime, I’ve learned patience. But patience has its limits. They were quick to arrest me. Quick to raid my home. Quick to seize my property. Quick to strip me of my Freedom and Constitutional rights. Yet nearly TWO MONTHS after receiving a FULL and UNCONDITIONAL Presidential Pardon, I’m still being denied the ability to purchase a firearm. The government wasted no time taking my rights. Why is it taking so long to restore them? Every day I’m wrongfully denied the ability to exercise my God-given Second Amendment rights is another day my Constitutional rights are being violated. JUSTICE DELAYED IS JUSTICE DENIED. Thank you, Lee Williams @HT_GunWriter , for exposing this continued government overreach.
Presidential pardon recipients still barred from buying guns The Federal Bureau of Investigation has denied recent firearm purchases by both Pastor Russell Fincher and Patrick “Tate” Adamiak who were each pardoned by President Donald L. Trump nearly two months ago. Adamiak tried to purchase an Auto-Ordnance semi-automatic Thompson, which had engraved images of President Trump. Fincher tried to buy a Smith & Wesson Victory handgun. Each completed an ATF Form 4473, but each was denied by the FBI. Both Adamik and Pastor Fincher received Presidential pardons, which were signed by President Trump Sept. 3, 2026, but neither man’s Second Amendment rights appear to have been fully restored. ATF Director Robert Cekada was quick to point out that his agency had nothing to do with the denials. “I am fully aware of that, but it has nothing to do with us,” Cekada said Friday morning. “We don’t block anybody. The 4473 goes to the FBI. Anyone who gets a denial on a background check gets denied by the FBI.” The FBI requires members of the media to submit their question via email. Questions were sent Friday morning, but so far, the agency has not called or sent a response. “It’s frustrating,” Fincher said Friday morning. He ordered the Smith & Wesson handgun through a local dealer. “I told him he’s going to have to sell it to someone else,” Fincher said. “If I want to buy a firearm, I guess now I have to buy it from an individual.” Adamiak said he also experienced problems with a denial by the Pennsylvania State Police instant background check system. “I filled out an appeal and mailed it to the state,” he said. “They won’t accept digital submissions, and they have up to 30 days to make a decision.” The state and federal systems are not communicating, he said. “We’re both cleared,” Adamiak said. “Every day we can’t get a firearm is a day we can’t defend ourselves. Our Second Amendment rights are being violated. We each have presidential pardons.” The Second Amendment Foundation’s Investigative Journalism Project wouldn’t be possible without you. Thank you for admitting that non-citizens are voting in our elections. We always knew it was happening. Now, we have proof.

This morning, I voted. I voted for lower taxes, a secure border, and to protect the Constitution of the United States. I had the rare privilege of voting for myself, and I voted to keep Texas red. I urge you to do the same 🇺🇸

Another bogus claim by the @AP, @JimVertuno "Few mass shootings in the U.S. end like the deadly attack on an Oregon elementary school: with an armed civilian opening fire on the gunman." koin.com/news/national/ap-or… WRONG. The media won't cover them, but there are lots of mass public shootings stopped by legally armed citizens. crimeresearch.org/2023/06/ub… Lots of active shootings stopped. crimeresearch.org/2026/09/ma…

Thank you to the hero dad in Oregon who rushed in to stop a school shooter. We have never had more guns in private hands than we do today & we also have never had a lower rate of violent crime in US history. My point: there a TON of good guys with guns today, more than ever.

It was a pleasure to get a chance to talk to @TateAdamiak, the US Navy sailor who was wrongfully imprisoned by Biden’s ATF for 4 years over parts kits, facing 20 years in prison. Thankfully he was just pardoned by President Trump. Glad you’re free, Tate 🇺🇸

Had a great opportunity to meet with the NRA Gun Bus in Virginia Beach today and personally thank some of the NRA staff for standing with me during my fight. 🇺🇸 When my case reached the Supreme Court of the United States, the NRA @NRA joined the Second Amendment Foundation @2AFDN , California Rifle & Pistol Association @CRPAnews , Second Amendment Law Center @2ALawCenter , Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus @mnguncaucus , and Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms @CCRKBArms in filing an amicus brief urging the Court to hear my case. I’ll never forget the organizations and individuals who were willing to stand up for me when it mattered. Thank you to the NRA and everyone who stood with me. 🇺🇸

What an incredible full-circle moment. After my presentation, Justin Moon, founder and CEO of Kahr Firearms Group and owner of Auto-Ordnance @auto_ordnance , presented me with a Thompson 1927A1—and of all models, it was the commemorative President Trump edition. @realDonaldTrump There was a time when I genuinely feared I would never again be able to walk into a gun store, fill out a 4473, and lawfully take home a firearm. Being able to do that again is something I will never take for granted. And Mr. Moon’s generosity didn’t stop there. He insisted on taking my family and me, along with a few familiar faces, out to dinner afterward. What a generous, humble man. Thank God. Thank President Trump. @POTUS And thank you, Mr. Justin Moon, for an experience and I will never forget. 🇺🇸 @Guns_Gadgets @aarmark

Back on the range for the first time since receiving my Presidential Pardon. After everything I’ve been through, I still can’t believe this is my reality. I’m incredibly grateful to President Trump @POTUS for giving me my freedom and my rights back. And what better way to put my finger back on a trigger than behind a scoped .50 cal? 🇺🇸 Freedom hits different when you know what it feels like to lose it. Thank you, President Trump @realDonaldTrump. And a huge thank you to Kahr Arms for sponsoring the shoot and helping make this moment possible. 🇺🇸🦅

Being constitutional and doing your job correctly is now called “pandering” by the left. I was at GRPC and watched Mark Walters @aarmark interview the ATF Director and his Chief Counsel. It was an excellent discussion about respecting the Constitution and the rights of law-abiding Americans. Calling that “pandering” is a ridiculous assessment. 👇👇👇 smokinggun.org/atf-leaders-p…

California Gov. @GavinNewsom has spent his tenure eroding the Second Amendment at every opportunity possible. Now, with his term nearly up, Newsom has signed off on six anti-gun bills that will have long-term ramifications for firearm owners well after he leaves office.
