It's okay to complain that you haven't gotten it. It's okay to criticize that this was obvious market manipulation (which we willingly partake in). But to say that it should just be handed out and throw hate to those that are LUCKY enough to get it is insane. I haven't even gotten it, and yeah I get upset, and I complain, and I get a bit jealous, but I'm also incredibly happy for those that've found it, whether they're returning, new, OG, streamer, or people who just straight grinded for it. Congratulations to you all! If I get it, I get it. If I don't, I don't. I'll decide how I feel from there. No hate, no saying I should be handed the token. It's luck. Day 6, no token, no skin, and no car. This shit is taking a toll on my mental health. I have personally opened over 5k chests by now, with my squad probably having opened over 10-15k collectively, and nothing. I feel like a lot of people won't get the token this season and those who don't will most likely quit, and I might be among those that do... this is having the opposite effect. I don't care about winning in a game where the VICTORY ROYALE should be your goal. All I care about is opening chests. Wins don't feel good anymore. They BARELY felt rewarding last season, but at least there was SOMETHING there when you won, but this season, it's just, "yay... we won... but we didn't get the fucking pirate shop token..." and you leave the lobby in silence, no more screaming "LET'S GOOOO!" when you win a brutal fight and see those words pop up on the screen, just the solemn, disheartening fact that you're walking away without that token. In my honest opinion, I believe they never should have added it to the game. Not like this. You get a month of high player counts and then those that don't pull this token are disappearing, some even as we speak. I hope they have this in mind. @Fortnite @FortniteStatus

People do NOT like to be called out on their BS, man. -I've had long-time player moots get the token -I've seen returning players get it and not get it -I've seen new/lowskill players both get it and not get, just like all of us -I've seen people from all over the world get it and not get it, regardless of server -I've seen small streamers get it, I've seen big streamers NOT get it (or going as far as to FAKE getting it) There is one simple rule in statistics you learn on the first day: Correlation does not equal causation. Just because you see two things happen together DOES NOT automatically mean that's the reason one or the other happened. We are but humans and will try to justify our dissatisfaction on anything other than we were simply UNLUCKY. Period.
