The reactions of European leaders on the Putin-Trump meeting in Alaska are pathetic. Trump has his own agenda and doesn’t care at all about Ukraine or Europe. Instead of listening and hoping that Trumps changes course, it would be better to follow our own interests and strategy (establishment of a European Defense Union, entering Ukraine in the European Union and arming the country sufficiently so that it can win the war).
