The US now has final federal rules for payment stablecoins. Issuers need 1:1 reserves and have to process redemptions within two business days, starting Jan 18, 2027.
More regulated stablecoins moving between banks, exchanges and apps means a lot more flows to reconcile. That data layer is what we build at Kryptos.

Taxing staking rewards when you sell them instead of when they land would fix one of the most annoying parts of crypto taxes. A de minimis rule for small transactions would be the other big one. It's still just a letter to Congress, so nothing changes for this year's returns.
