Im fairly certain UMass has never stopped an opponent in the last 15 years who is down a score with less than 2 mins in the game. It’s remarkable how often that exact scenario has played out.
Anyone know if there is a UMass section at the Garden on Friday or what side of the court their bench is on?
UMass scored 2 points from 8:36 to 0:26 left in the game. Still won by 11. That’s a really good win. Wang is a huge difference maker because it forces Frank to finally play an offensively talented player who can stretch the floor at the 4, which has been missing his entire tenure
Not sure how it’s possible that the best this offensive line looked was against a Big 10 team but that’s the reality. Needs major improvement in the offseason.

Sources: UMass star quarterback Pop Watson is expected to return for the Minutemen at UConn tonight. Watson has missed the past two games with an ankle injury. He’ll be evaluated pre-game, but is expected to play.

On Friday night, UConn and UMass will play for a trophy that neither school acknowledges. @NBCConnecticut
Make way for the people’s trophy, the Southwick Jug. 🏆

UMass HC Joe Harasymiak on QB Pop Watson’s status for UConn game: Pop, TY, Joe and Will DePaepe all went through walkthrough today. All four will probably be gametime decisions, but we’re on a good start.

Made the trip to Amherst today. Incredible effort from UMass. Felt great to watch a competent football team play their ass off.
The decision to go for 2 was 100% the right call. Didnt love the playcall given the personnel but it was right there if the OL had blocked it correctly
Worried about the injuries piling up. The WR room is in a rough spot if TY is hurt. Couple OL limping off the field at the end. Defense seemed to get out fairly unscathed (i think).
