It's the best feeling when your random research project somehow enables other people to build super cool stuff!
Using Apple's Corelocation you can identify network devices in areas where Wigle simply doesn't have coverage. This is Pine Gap, a joint Australian and United States satellite communications and signals intelligence surveillance base. You cannot get within 25KM before getting stopped. Using Apple's own infrastructure you can map out the location of over 140 Fortinet devices on the base.

Is it not possible to train a model with different token spaces for instructions versus data to mitigate prompt injection? Random thought but what if say tool call responses used a completely different tokenizer so that rather than relying on flaky delimiters? #showerthought

Or split the embedding space or something. Now that I think about it, someone is probably already doing this... A quick google and boom: arxiv.org/html/2503.10566v1 What do people think? Prompt injection solved within 2 years?

Governments are surprisingly insecure. "No way this works" I've learnt to fight this instinct now.

Never had so many AI products looked so similar Even though the number of products is exploding, there aren't that many radical new ideas and everything blurs into each other Every time I open this app it feels like homework: yet another new product to learn that promises to do the same thing but somehow better; the specific ways in which it's better isn't clear unless you invest hours actually trying it

Just found a DMARC bypass for a pretty widely used mail server. Strong temptations to do some phishing & supply chain attack but obviously can't since we're in America and laws exist here 😭

It's 2026 and we're still getting parsers disagreeing on [0] or [-1]

What if I don't want to talk to another bot. Just shut up and get shit done in the background. Pipe dream for now, but for how long?
I did it with Grok Bot. You gotta try Instinct. Send it to your Townie.Put it in Work mode. Give it to Cowork. It’s just Hatch. Tandem can do it. Give it to Juno. Nudge it to Pip. Dude just use Manus. I got a Duggie invite. OpenClaw on a Mac mini can handle it. Crundle is goated.

RCE on MacOS dropped. Surprised there weren't any POCs that actually did the RCE. Everyone just doing file reads and calling it a day (maybe since Claude didn't let them). Well, here you go, a real POC. github.com/acheong08/CVE-202…

Bug has been publicly known since mid July, and only patched earlier this month, and a bunch of people still haven't patched their systems.
