I watched documentaries on Vivian Leigh (Scarlett in “Gone with the Wind”) and Mary Tyler Moore. They both were married multiple times, had one child who they didn’t mother, and were estranged from.
Mary Tyler Moore struggled privately with profound loneliness, isolation, and alcoholism.
Vivien Leigh experienced deep loneliness at several points in her life, shaped by her childhood, the demands of her career, and her struggles with mental illness.
