Arrests of Christians in Iran increased in 2025, with 254 cases reported - approximately double the number recorded in 2024. This has been accompanied by severe judicial outcomes, including exclusion from education, employment and health
Rising religious nationalism and anti-conversion laws in several parts of India are a source of constant pressure on Christian communities. There were over 700 several incidents of violence against Christians across the country in 2025 alone.

Christians have been beheaded and chased out of their homes in Cabo Delgado, nothern Mozambique, for most of the past decade. Nobody seems able to stem the violence.
ACN has been helping the local Church deal with the fallout of a Jihadist insurgency.
Christians used to live in peace with Muslims in Mali, but week leadership has led to a vacuum which is being filled by Islamic etremists. Christians have been subject to violence, abductions and church burnings.

🧵ACN's new "Persecuted and Forgotten?" report identifies displacement as a major concern, with Christians forming part of a wider exodus of people driven from their homes by conflicts in Africa and Asia, some of it religiously motivated.
In Nigeria alone, millions of Christians are among the internally displaced people, while persistent extremist violence across parts of sub-Saharan Africa is raising concerns that displacement could lead to lasting changes in the religious composition of affected regions.
