Igor Pavan Tres, a 26-year-old Brazilian seminarian and beloved Catholic influencer, died peacefully after a five-year battle with kidney cancer. Even while fighting intense pain and undergoing rounds of chemotherapy, Igor used his hospital bed as a pulpit. From his room, bald from treatment, rosary in hand, he shared powerful videos and reflections about trusting Jesus, offering up suffering, and finding hope in the Cross. His faith never wavered. Thousands followed his journey, inspired by his joy and unwavering witness.
Though cancer interrupted his formation, his greatest formation came through the school of the Cross. He taught us all that real faith shines brightest in the darkest moments. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.
Please pray for the repose of Igor’s soul and for comfort for his family🕊️

On Oct. 2, the Church celebrates the Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels, the heavenly companions given to us by God’s loving providence.
Always beholding the face of the Father, they faithfully accompany us on our journey toward heaven, guiding us toward what is good, defending us in moments of temptation and carrying our prayers before God.
Holy Guardian Angels, protect and pray for us!

The devil will try to upset you by accusing you of being unworthy of the blessings that you have received. Simply remain cheerful and do your best to ignore the devil's nagging. If need be even laugh at the absurdity of the situation. Satan, the epitome of sin itself, accuses you of unworthiness! When the devil reminds you of your past, remind him of his future!
-St. Theresa of Avila

“After my death, I will let fall a shower of roses. I will spend my heaven doing good upon the earth. I will raise up a mighty host of little saints. My mission is to make God loved.”

I want to introduce you to Sister Cecilia, the nun who was beheaded in 2002.
She is a symbol (and I pray, soon, a saint) of the Christians in Iraq & what they endured thanks to the US' destabilization of Iraq.
She is an Assyrian nun who was beheaded in 2002.
She was raised in a monastery & spent her adult life as a Chaldean nun looking after sick Catholics.
On August 15, 2002, her family begged her not to go back to the monastery in Baghdad.
"I cannot leave God's house alone".
That was the night that three men broke into the Sacred Heart of Jesus Monastery in Baghdad. They slit her throat & cut off her head.
Her story is one of thousands.
Her story encapsulates the legacy of the Iraq War.
A legacy of Christian flight, from 1.5 million to less than 200,000 today.
A story of senseless Foreign Wars for Foreign Interests.
What did it get us? And how could we so ruthlessly abandon the Christians of the East, who were never even a forethought?
Pray for us all, and pray for Sister Cecilia's sainthood.

Last night was one of the hardest nights I've had. So grateful I got another chance today. 🙏🏻
With the Spokane, WA fires going on, I want to place a little something out there that if the houses aren’t rebuilt a data center will be! Or a data center taking place of those lost home will be suggested.
