Be mindful of the company you keep. When you are with the wrong crowd, they see you as competition. They look at you with the eyes of envy. Some may speak ill behind your back and hope for your failure. The Almighty often sends warning signs. Don’t ignore them.

I’m slowly making peace with the thought of doing life alone. Some nights, I just wish I had someone to share the little things with, someone to come home to, someone who chooses me without hesitation. I have so much love to give, and sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever find somewhere to put it.

I’m such a "thank you so much" person even for the little little things because l understand that nobody is obligated to do anything for me so l will always appreciate the people who choose to show up for me🥹🤍

Nothing is more heartbreaking than believing you shared a genuine connection with someone, only to eventually realise that you may have been experiencing it very differently. You remember the conversations, the little moments, the things they said that made you feel close to them. You thought the interest was mutual. You thought the effort meant something. You thought you were building something together. And then, slowly, their actions make you question whether they ever felt the same way at all. It’s a painful realisation because you’re not just grieving the person. You’re grieving what you thought the connection was. You’re having to make peace with the possibility that something you held so close never carried the same meaning for them. There’s a special kind of heartbreak in realising you weren’t imagining the connection, but you may have been the only one truly invested in it.

We’re not kids anymore. Now my mom tells me her problems, and I hide mine so she doesn’t have to worry. ❤️🩹

Sometimes I look at my life and barely recognize it. This was never the plan, and this was never how I imagined my story would go.

Depression is so weird bc on one hand, you don’t want to burden your friends and you just wanna be alone but on the other hand, you don’t want to isolate and want to be around the people you love and that make you happy. It’s hard trying to find a balance and being exhausted just from existing.
