I’m in New York today and watched Canadians march alongside Americans to remember September 11 and honour the sacrifices our countries made in the years after. It’s a reminder that Canada and America are bound together by geography, blood, family, friendship and history. As we see today, governments will disagree and politics will change. But one of the greatest partnerships between two countries in history will overcome temporary turmoil.

🇨🇦 is one of the luckiest countries on Earth. We have the energy, resources, talent, geography, institutions and alliances to become one of the world’s richest and most powerful countries. We’ve spent decades accepting mediocrity and thinking like a middle power. Instead, 🇨🇦 should become an economic and geopolitical powerhouse. I think we can do it.
