I grew up in Stoke and visiting the Peaks a lot so it was lovely to go back - but it’s certainly a lot more lumpy than the Surrey Hills! We had a great guide, thank goodness!

‘Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Peaslake anymore’. Loved this trip.
After the #LakeDistrict, we headed straight to the #PeakDistrict - another of our favourite national parks. A two-day private adventure for @adelemitchell and her friends. Some added tips and pointers meant everyone in the group was taking on the best of this big beautiful place!

We were talking about effects of menopause on sport on our mountain bike ride yesterday (we often talk about this, as we're all in our 50s). All advice we see seems to be anecdotal.

Really fascinating piece by @KateLouiseRowan on the under talked about (& understudied) impact of the #menopause on older women in sport. Also so refreshing to see a headline that includes 'hot flush' and 'world title' in the same line 👀telegraph.co.uk/sport/2021/1…

@PhilCavell #midlifecyclist - I’ve read great reviews - but quick question - Is any of the book specific to women (eg effects of menopause) or is the research based on men? Thx.

I'm old enough to wonder how you are defining adventure, and older? :) I'm also going to nominate @Healthyhappy50 although I don't consider her in the least bit 'older' (she's younger than I am for a start!).

I make damson gin and add star anise to it (one 'petal' pre bottle) - if Zoco is anything like that, then it's delicious!
