You cannot insult an entire ethnic group by calling Hausa people “riff-raff” and expect them to vote for you. 2: @DONUKOGBARA you have misyarned, and you owe the Hausa people an unreserved apology. 3: You cannot disrespect an entire people and expect their votes. Respect is not optional in a multi-ethnic democracy.

A Yoruba man born in Lagos acknowledges that he’s not from Lagos but Nwachukwu from Nnewi wants to claim Lagos because his parents came to Lagos through night bus and they gave birth to him there
My next single was inspired by the idea Origins.. I was born in Lagos but I’m not from Lagos like so many of us. My family is from Egba Gbagura, Abeokuta Ogun state…. Feels great to create a sound experiment around where I’m from. I’m in my Afro-Soul fusion mood these days and I can’t wait to share my new journey with U.

Imagine asking if @adesina_adele has relationship to Lagos The audacity sha

Why’s chinedu mother Nkechi campaigning for her son in ibo language not English in Lagos state? This is obviously Ibo agenda. Chinedu Rhodes vivior will never be governor in Lagos state.

Bro blocked me for the same reason in 2023. On one occasion, he asked me to go back to my state. He thought I wasn't a Lagosian.

Mongrel, drop the performative unity. Stick to the bigoted energy you’ve had in your tweets, we all know that's the same ethnic scapegoating you'd return to the moment election season ends and it's time to blame another tribe for your candidate's loss.
The Yoruba’s supporting Peter Obi are more than the Yoruba’s supporting Tinubu.

They saw Tinubu as another Awolowo. 🌚😂😂😂 Lateef Jakande defeated Sultan Ladega Adeniji-Adele in 1979 with Awolowo’s backing. Interestingly, that period also raises several questions about ancestry, indigeneity and political belonging in Lagos. But you mentioned something that genuinely caught my attention: that the Jakande and Rhodes-Vivour families became Lagos indigenes through the same government gazette. Could you please share any information about this gazette, particularly the year of publication, gazette number and relevant page or provision? I have been digging into the separate histories of the Rhodes and Vivour family lines, and I would really love to examine that document. E fit open another interesting chapter in my research.
U didnt know? One of the Adeniji Adeles lost to Lateef Jakande with Omu Aran, Kwara ancestry. Awolowo backed Jakande and he won by a landslide. They never forgave Awolowo and the so called 'other Yorubas' who voted overwhelmingly for 'Baba Kekere.' That was our sin, even though we were not born by then. 😂😂 ***Note that Jakande's family had become Lagos indigenes by same gazette which made the Rhode Vivors indigenes. He was a Lagosian by law but Kwaran by DNA.

I had a great time on Masoyinbo, exploring the importance of Yoruba in our society and why we must preserve the language, celebrate our culture and pass our rich heritage on to future generations. Yoruba is more than a language. It is part of our identity, history, values and what connects us as a community. While our diversity is one of our greatest strengths, preserving our indigenous languages is a responsibility we all share. Building a greater Lagos means investing not only in infrastructure and public services but also in our people, culture and values. We must work together to keep our heritage alive for generations to come. Masoyinbo is doing a wonderful job of preserving our heritage while keeping us informed and entertained, whether in Lagos or anywhere else in the world.
