The largest crypto heist ever, and a dark day for the industry. On a positive note, it's great to see stablecoin issuers coordinate and freeze funds fast. @tether was the fastest, as usual, but @circle reacted faster than usual

Ripple is closely monitoring reports of a potential exploit involving Binance and its attackers’ RLUSD holdings and we are actively freezing affected funds. We’re coordinating with relevant parties and stand ready to support any investigation and appropriate action to keep users protected.

Tether froze more than 1.567B USDT related to a potential Binance exchange hack. Protecting the industry and our partners is our main priority. Stay safe everyone.

How does @kamino monitor risk across one of @solana's largest lending protocols? With Range, the team monitors three critical areas: • Multisigs controlling treasury funds and program upgrades. • Large movements across its lending markets, with alerts tailored to normal market activity. • Upgrades to its own programs and third-party programs supporting listed collateral. One of the biggest improvements came from adjusting market alerts. Kamino's vaults regularly rebalance capital across markets. Alerts based on cumulative volumes were triggering during routine activity. With Range, Kamino switched to monitoring large individual inflows and outflows, helping the team focus on movements that actually need attention. The New Banks Over the past 18 months, fintech and crypto companies have filed 40 applications to open brand-new, federally licensed US banks. Erebor, Revolut, Nubank and Mercury want full banks that can take deposits and lend. Most of the names on the map are pursuing trust bank licenses instead, allowing them to hold digital assets for clients without taking deposits. They include Circle, Paxos, Coinbase, Ripple and Bridge. Regulators have turned down two applications so far, and the reasons reveal what they look for. Wise was refused over its record on anti-money-laundering controls. bunq was refused over its capital plan and the experience of its management team. A federal bank license puts a company's stablecoin and fiat operations in front of the same examiner. @range_org works with banks and trust companies, including an NYDFS-regulated trust bank, to turn what the examiner expects into controls on every transaction. We orchestrate the compliance providers they already use, while keeping monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting on a single record.

One of the best side effects of becoming an AI-native company: Radical transparency. A company brain makes context, decisions, and data accessible to everyone. No silos. Less politics.

Brazil's central bank closes the perimeter on October 30, 2026. After that date, licensed players can't work with unauthorized counterparties, and unlicensed platforms must stop operating in the country. We partnered with B8 Partners , alongside @SolanaFndn, on a new guide to what compliance actually takes: licensing, custody, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, cross-border reporting. @blockchain_rio last week showed the region is already moving on this. We're working with teams across Brazil and LatAm on exactly that, and open to more. Get in touch or read the guide 👇 range.org/contact?utm_source…
