Ok let's summarize why Europe would win without relying the "dumb Africans" argument.(because people love to forget Northern Africa exists) For reference the argument is Modern Africa vs 1939 Europe, no outside help. 1. Europe 1939 is a Europe prepared for large scale long term war. They have industry, factories prepared, weapons prepared. 2. Europe willing to do chemical warfare and everything that is considered illegal today/you're not trained for 3. Knowledge of battle tactics in modern day do not translate to knowledge of 1939 battle tactics. Frankly both enemies are blind to the other one's tactics. 4. Europe produces its own weapons does not rely on outsiders for most of its production like food. Africa is extremely reliant with some nations being downright dysfunctional without outside money. 5. While specific countries in africa are fortresses that are seemingly impenetrable(Egypt especially is the biggest problem). Most African countries just arent. 6. Yes Europe is ready to reverse engineer every modern weapon and tool. Even computers. Even if they aren't able to make new computers in the time frame the ones they will find along with any programming book in any African library will be enough 7. Eventually even Egypt will be surrounded, Europe is willing to poison even river Nile to get what it wants
