🚨 BREAKING from @OuestFrance:
Arsenal have joined the race to sign Stade Rennes’ 18-year old midfielder, Désiré Doué! 🇫🇷
The youngster could leave for a club-record sale. ♾️
Vincent Kompany’s illness is about more than just himself.
It’s part of trend across sports and wider society in how we view Black bodies.
Some thoughts 👇
Vincent Kompany was discharged from hospital on Wednesday, five days after the Bayern Munich head coach collapsed at the club’s training ground.
The 40-year-old Belgian took ill at the club’s Sabener Strasse headquarters on Friday, watching a session involving the club’s second team, having been suffering from viral infection over the previous week.

Arsenal really do fry everyone’s brains
We’re now at a point where, because it’s Arsenal, a scissor tackle at pace, almost trapping a standing leg, is a “good challenge” but a tiny reaction with zero force is “violent conduct”
Think for a second. Are you all fucking retarded?
There’s been an aura around how we’ve been officiated since the start. Something to keep an eye on.
If we sign dangerous attackers, we can reduce the impact of Pro Ref’s weirdness.

Was the referee right to send Max Dowman off?
Catch up on today's Ramble here! 👉 lnk.to/Ramble
People lost there head when Gabriel’s foot deflected off the ball to tap Martinez on the head with his laces lol
One set of standards for Arsenal and another for everyone else.

Rejecting the appeal is a disgrace I’m sorry. Dangerous precedent set that they believe after that whole ordeal Dowman should serve a ban

This is really poor by @FA. The governing body is supposed to protect players. It should be disputing this regulatory commission verdict by members drawn from the FA judicial panel. Max Dowman could have suffered a bad injury to his standing leg from a dangerous challenge which went unpunished. Arsenal 16-year-old shouldn’t have reacted but his frustration was understandable. Some other players might have rolled around and ensured a bad challenge was punished. Dowman didn’t. He doesn’t stay down. The FA should have shown some understanding towards Dowman. Instead, it has suspended him for three games. FA priorities all wrong: tolerating a poor challenge and some weak refereeing but punishing a kid who objected to a bad challenge that could have dealt him a serious injury. Protect players. #AFC
So it turns out the Fleetwood goalkeeper @JayLynchy lied through his teeth on @talksport about Arsenal.
His own team mate confirmed what “Lynchy” said was absolute bullshit. All for clout hey Jay? Hope it was worth it you fucking weasel.

Dragging someone’s foot off your own like this is either “excessive force” or “brutality” according
to the FA - yet another institution corrupted by toxic culture and incompetence.

A simple way of looking at it: if something isn't called a foul, let alone a yellow/red, it is permitted to be done as much as possible in a game. So Neal's challenge on Dowman can be done 100 times, while Dowman's nudge back gets a three-match ban (plus the final 10 mins).
