Praise God.
NEW: Jacksonville Jaguars star Travis Hunter gets baptized before his game against the Seattle Seahawks.
“Couldn't find my keys this morning and was late for church, only to come upon Jacksonville Jaguars Travis Hunter getting baptized!” a church attendee said.
“He asked to come get baptized before today's game. Thank you Jesus for touching this young man's life!”
Love this 🙏

The industry lost a truly amazing person. James was such a uniquely talented individual. He went about his work in way that captured the attention of people from all different walks of life. Not only did he make his audience better DFS players, he made us better people as well. The courage and fight he displayed over the course of last 15 months was inspirational. James, you will be missed but NEVER forgotten. Rest easy big guy, we love you! 💙
I’m sorry to share that James passed on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
If you’ve been around the DFS world for any length of time, chances are you crossed paths with James. With his sharp takes, contagious energy, or the genuine way he connected with people.
Growing the DFS industry and including everyone (even the guy in the back) was his true passion. He was community-driven, unfiltered, and always real. A true 1 of 1 person. His worst fear was letting everyone down, and even during the worst of days he would grin and bear it to keep that promise to himself.
I also want to include this message from his wife to all of you.
"Thank you to everyone that sent messages of encouragement to Degen during his ordeal. Your kind words, prayers, and good vibes meant more to him than anyone truly knew. My sincerest gratitude to all of you for making him feel loved and supported."
For now, we’d love to hear your stories, memories, and anything else you’d like to share in his honor.
He meant so much to all us and I know we’ll all miss him dearly, Thank you.

Very hard to put this news into words…
We’ll have more in the near future on how we can support James and honor his legacy but for now I’ll just say this…
James was SPECIAL!
So much passion, so much grit, so much heart…right to the very end.
He never let cancer define him. He showed up through it all with the kind of energy most couldn’t even muster on their best days. He faced it head-on with strength, humor and the raw authenticity that made him an inspiration to myself and many others.
He was more than just a DFS player and/or content creator. He was a great friend of mine and definitely made a lasting impact on more people than he probably realized.
Here’s to the Big Guy who always included everyone…Bob, New Guys, MotherFathers and even the guy in the back…
Now, he’s our Big Guy in the big sky…watching over the whole Nation from the brightest seat in the house.
RIP Degen75. A true 1 of 1!
😢💔🙏
