Many people can't think of aesthetics outside of absolute categories like "right" and "wrong." I think of aesthetics in terms of language. If you're trying to dress classic, there are correct and incorrect ways to do it. But classic is not the only aesthetic. Everything is about what you're trying to achieve/ what language you're trying to communicate in.

such a smooth, slick, shiny fabric like this should not be used for a sport coat. it makes the garment look cheap, especially in this halloween/ popsicle color. would be better with texture, such as tweed.
