COMPARE CRUSH late breaking clinical science @TCT. Upstream crushed vs oral prasugrel led to slight better plat inhib prior to PCI in STEMI, but still suboptimal in most pts. No diff in TIMI 3 flow, ST res or MACE. The only way to ensure rapid P2Y12 inhibition is IV cangrelor.
