Hard to see how Hare-Clarke is responsible for a result in an OPV single outcome election. Possibly visible only to a … Lecturer in Law? #politas

Advising Dr Sherlock that Hare-Clarke doesn’t apply to Deputy Mayor election didn’t result in a correction to her post; it earned a deletion of my comment & a block on LinkedIn (of all places)! Is that how @UTAS_ Lecturers in Law are taught to deal with mistakes? #politas

Nuuk, Greenland. A boardwalk in front of houses in a waterfront residential location. Seems it is entirely possible. Enough to shake the very foundations of Battery Point… #politas

If the energy for “save Boags” was redirected to supporting Tasmania owned and operated breweries, we may not find ourselves in this situation again… #politas

Two announcements this week (opening up of blood donors and international contractor bidding to build Tasmanian stadium) have proven two things; There are still lots of racist bigots getting about.

If Australia held 30 days of fuel supply, then every single litre sold in the last month was bought by the supplier at pre-Iran price. Yet it’s a cut in government revenue that we’re all fussed about, not the super profits of the oil companies?

Searoad, the primary freight provider to/from Tasmania, just announced a fuel surcharge of 37.94%. Sometimes it’s nice to at the other end of the world, but Tasmanian business is going to need your support, Australia. Perhaps swap imported products for Tasmanian made for a bit?

Tassie Devils played their first game today. A practice match, but still pretty weird that the team didn’t seem to have anybody in their comms team working to provide updates to the potential fans. Hope they know they’re going to have to work on the weekend…

Trying to get answers from @qantas on baggage allowance when they flick you to Jetstar is already hard enough. When the customer “service” centre is offshore (Fiji) and the staff are simply rude, how does “spirit of Australia” even get past the ACCC any more?

Surely if “religion” is your defence for hate speech then the problem is your “religion”.

Wait - you’re saying that Opposition doesn’t have the same resources as Government? The scoops just keep on coming. #politas
Data suggests Tasmanian Labor is losing the media battle with the Liberals. Lacking industry connections while having a small inexperienced team. Read More ➡️: thoughtdigestmedia.news/2025… #politas #news #hobart #tasmania
