all in all I just feel kazuki is, for the most part, doing the best he can with what he has. and that he’s a good guy. (or, if preferred, morally complex.)

Like yes it’s not the greatest. but these pursuits are coping mechanisms. this is not me trying to condone or not condone them. but my defense is that if he hadn’t lost his pregnant wife and he was still happily with her and their child I feel he’d be the most loyal person ever.+
