AI coding tools help teams ship features faster than ever, but the hardest vulnerabilities to catch are the ones that look like valid application logic.
Access control and business logic flaws are easy to miss in review because nothing looks broken. A user can see another user's data, or move money that isn't there, and the code behind it reads as ordinary though it has been manipulated.
I ran the new SonarQube Hunter Agent on my app ProofWeave (9K lines of TypeScript) in SonarQube Cloud. It hunted through the codebase like an AppSec researcher and caught 6 logic and access control flaws that I would have missed in review, the kind that usually only get caught in pentests.
Full walkthrough and findings in the thread 👇

RL on brain signals... Never thought it was even possible to train models using brain signals, This is some crazy research, tbh!
RIP JULES 🐙
When we launched Jules, it was an experiment to learn how asynchronous coding agents can help developers ship faster. Seeing what you built taught us so much about where agentic development is headed, directly shaping several products across @Google.
We’re working on bringing our learnings from Jules into @antigravity so you get the best of both worlds: autonomous remote background task execution and an agent-first development environment.
As we focus on this unified experience, Jules will be winding down.
Whether you used Jules to crush bugs, write tests, or launch features— thank you for shaping the future of agentic coding! 💙🦑
Anthropic is taking safety very seriously. They've introduced a new technique called self-assessment in Claude.
We’ve trained Claude to flag potential misuse in conversations, a technique we call self-assessment. Right after it responds, Claude gives a preliminary safety assessment of the conversation.
Since we began using self-assessment in June, it has surfaced misuse that our other safeguards weren’t designed to catch.
Because Claude has already read the conversation, self-assessment is very efficient. And unlike classifiers, which target a discrete set of harms, it draws on Claude’s own judgment, so it gets more accurate as our models improve.

frontier LLMs handle high-level planning well, but their inference latency and cost make them impractical for driving a live physical robot control loop directly.
PokeBot built Poke-Aurora, a dedicated World-Action Model, and opened it through RoboAPI (a non-commercial product under PokeBot) on supported hardware. The model combines pre-training and post-training to turn natural language prompts and robot state into near-real-time physical actions without training a custom policy first. It runs zero-shot across unseen tasks and environments, with demo footage shown at 1x speed (comparable to human speed).
a dedicated, hosted action model makes much more sense for real-time execution than trying to force a heavyweight text model into the control loop.

Don't trust demos. Try it yourself.
Introducing RoboAPI, powered by Poke-Aurora, our world-action model.
Give compatible robots natural-language instructions through a simple API. No task-specific training.

Interesting to see how similar the conversation patterns look across the two languages in the clips. Overlaps and backchannels everywhere.

Pika Labs (@pika_labs) just dropped Pika H3 Flex, post-trained on MiniMax H3 around an actual iteration loop. You can generate a 15-second clip at 768p in as little as 7 seconds ($0.02 per second at launch).
You can pass up to 12 references across images, videos, and audio, and upscale the video which you like to 2K or 4K in the same job. It runs 1.8x faster and up to 80% cheaper than H3Max across matched text, image, and reference comparisons, and ranks #7 on DesignArena's text-to-video leaderboard ahead of base H3, H3Max, and Seedance 2.5.
it also has stem separation, which makes the output usable in a real timeline. Instead of locking stereo 32 kHz sound into a single track, it can export five separate WAV stems for dialogue, score, SFX, foley, and ambience alongside the MP4, with open weights and a minimal GitHub inference implementation planned next.

Meet Pika H3 Flex, debuting today as the #1 open weight model on DesignArena’s t2v board.
It’s built for professional iteration, with exportable audio stems, resolutions up to 4k, and faster-than-realtime generation. It can produce a 15-second clip with soundtrack in as little as 7 seconds.
So, yeah. It’s kind of a flex 💅

When the scan finished on ProofWeave, Hunter Agent surfaced 6 confirmed findings across all three of its playbook categories:
1. Authentication & session (2 issues, Blocker & High): An unauthenticated recovery endpoint returned the generated PIN proof in the response body, and deterministic hourly SHA-256 PIN generation let an earlier same-hour PIN reset passwords even after reissuance.
2. Business logic (1 issue, High): Successful password resets never consumed the recovery PIN, allowing repeated account takeovers with the same token.
3. Broken access control (3 issues, Medium): The billing transfer endpoint accepted negative credit amounts (letting a caller debit another workspace and credit their own), and the workspace member role PATCH route checked session presence without verifying admin authority or workspace binding, tracing a 6-step privilege escalation flow across `workspace-auth.ts` and `members/route.ts`.
Every finding lands directly in the SonarQube Cloud Issues list with the full cross-file execution flow, CWE mapping, and root-cause explanation.

Manual pentests only happen once or twice a year, while AI-assisted code ships every day. SonarQube Hunter Agent brings autonomous, playbook-driven security hunting directly into SonarQube Cloud so you can catch broken access control, authentication, and business logic flaws before release.

MiniCPM-OCR Jev scores formulas and tables on their own, 0 to 1 each, separate from the plain text. that's the bit I'd use, because with one overall score a single mangled table on a page would just slide through.

🎬 MiniCPM-OCR in action — running locally on iPhone Duo and iPad.
Parse fast and accurately. Guard the results. All in your hands. 🙌
Handwritten notes, complex formulas, newspapers, poor-quality scans—real documents put OCR to the test.
📄 MiniCPM-OCR 1.0 — SOTA OCR performance and speed at 1B scale.
It achieves 93.68 on Real5-OmniDocBench and 54.7 on OCRBench v2, combining accurate document parsing with efficient inference.
🛡️ MiniCPM-OCR Jev — A 2B decision model that checks OCR accuracy.
It approaches Qwen3.5-397B-A17B on JevOCRBench and works with outputs from different OCR parsers.
Watch it compare parsed text, formulas, and tables with the original image and assign 0–1 correctness scores—helping you pick better results and identify what needs human review.
🔓 Open weights. Deploy your way.
Run with llama.cpp, vLLM, SGLang, or Ollama. Customize with open-source fine-tuning code.
