Shipped Nagbar to Product Hunt today! producthunt.com/products/nag… Still feels weird launching something that started as us being annoyed at slow typing. No bells, just a Mac app that turns talking into text wherever your cursor is. Builders, whats the one feature you always check for in a tool like this?

Milestone! Our first Nagbar sale, within 24 hours of the Product Hunt launch! Small number, big deal to me! Now trying to understand what clicked for that one buyer so I can do more of it :)

Shipped a nagbar.app update today that removes UI instead of adding it Hot Take: dictation apps dont need more features, they need to disappear faster less UI, more just talk and go

September was one of my busiest months for shipping code [my side products/projects] 100% generated by Claude. Maybe 10% deeply understood From the outside, it looks like peak productivity: features built in hours, apps launched in days But as a software engineer, it feels hollow We’re slowly normalizing shipping systems we dont truly grasp just because the velocity is intoxicating The art of writing code, the craft we spent years mastering, is quietly dying

Devs with a 9-5, when do you actually build your side project/s?

300 applications on LinkedIn, 2 replies. That is the normal result now I wrote down the 8 sites I send friends to instead, with the catches included, plus a Google trick for finding jobs before the crowd

What makes you unfollow a builder on X? One reason only

Everyone: Google is cooked. Google: We've been training 💀
Gemini 4 Argon is here. It’s available globally today for developers and enterprises in the paid tier of the Gemini API and the Gemini platform, for Ultra subscribers in Google Antigravity, and Ultra and Pro subscribers in the Gemini app and Search. Hope you all enjoy it!

I think faster than I type and dictation apps I tried sent my voice to someone else's server. Nagbar: hold the right Option key, talk, let go. It types where your cursor is, in any app, and the speech model runs on the Mac. Nothing leaves it. Fun part I wrote this post that way!

Hot Take : a vibe coder can never be a software engineer but a software engineer can be the best vibe coder!

Unpopular opinion: future of AI coding isnt one agent being better than all the others. Its having one workflow where you can use Claude, Codex or whatever works best for the task are we there yet?

I used to dismiss every reminder on my Mac. A banner slides in mid-thought, I swipe it away, and at 11 PM: wait, I never sent that. So @thenightshipper and I built Nagbar. It won't take "later" for an answer: it asks again, then takes the whole screen until I hit Done.
