Unpopular opinion of the day: It doesn't matter how many times "literacy" appears on your district or campus plan; if you don't plan funding for librarians, libraries, and classroom reading materials, you don't value literacy much.

JUST NOW: House Appropriations k-12 Subcommittee announcing that in the House FY20 budget, ALL certificated educators will receive a raise of $2,775. This includes school psychologists, school social workers, school counselors, media specialists and special education specialists.
