FPGA Verified Againstは、公開以来ルールを8回更新しました。MiSTerのアーケードコアが実基板とMAMEのどちらを基準に確かめられたかを、コア自身の公開ソースの記述から読み取るページです。正確さの評価ではないことを、ページ冒頭に明記しました。 公開された記述だけを数えます。Patreonや非公開のDiscordなどに投稿されたチップの開封写真、プローブでの測定、配線の追跡は数えません。読者が確かめられず、引用すれば再公開になるためです。公開ソースに書かれていなければ、目印は動きません。 MAMEを指すと誤って数えていた記述を減らしました。「MAMEではない」という記述、ライセンスの定型文、ゲーム名、開発者自身のツールのファイル名、数値の表は、MAMEの引用やコピーとして数えなくなりました。「オリジナルの筐体で確認」は実基板側に数えます。 比較の範囲も広げました。各ビルドを配布されたコミット時点で、コンパイルされる全ファイルまで読み、MAME側は映像処理のファイルやカスタムチップのデバイスとも比較します。対象は721件(ソース公開543件)、毎週更新。 誤りを指摘してくださった開発者の方々に感謝します。ルールと変更の理由(英語):alamone.github.io/fpga-verif… alamone.github.io/fpga-verif…

FPGA Verified Against has had eight rule updates since launch. The page reads which reference each MiSTer arcade core’s own public source says it was checked against: original hardware or MAME. It is not an accuracy rating; the page now says so at the top. Only public statements count. Decap photos, probing and board traces posted on Patreon, closed Discord servers or private pages are not counted: readers can’t check them, and quoting them would republish them. Work not written into the public source doesn’t move the needle. Fewer false MAME readings. Comments saying “not MAME”, license headers, a game’s own title, the developer’s own tool files and tables of numbers no longer count as citing or copying MAME. “Tested against an original cabinet” now counts for hardware. Wider comparison. Each build is read exactly as published, with every file it compiles, and compared with MAME’s video files and custom-chip devices too. 721 cores listed (543 with public source), refreshed weekly.
