All right. It's time. I'm officially closing this account. There have been some great moments but I'm not here to support Apartheid Clyde in his next bid for supervillainy. Find me on Instagram (same handle) or my Substack (link in bio). Much love to all.

'#TroubletheSaints (@alayadj) is just plain gorgeous. It is gritty and violent and achingly real, but stitched through with fantasy....how nice to be drawn into a story so bursting at the seams with love in all its beauty and terror.'

I just saw a review of The Library of Broken Worlds that called it High Science Fiction, because why not, High Fantasy is a thing, and...I love this idea. What else is High SF? Elegance, big ideas, sweeping interstellar backgrounds? Definitely The Left Hand of Darkness...
Stars in my Pocket Like Grains of Sand by Samuel R. Delany, The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell, Destroyer of Light by @jennbrissett...I know there's a lot more
Grateful to @lithub for publishing my essay on trauma, science fiction and quantum mechanics. This is a love letter to the big ideas that also powered The Library of Broken Worlds. lithub.com/the-study-of-real…
Lots of us have a very personal stake in wanting to be able to differentiate reality from fantasy--and in my case, writing literal fantasy and science fiction was my secret back door in.
