This is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
A black and white comic by @hellragost on Instagram. A hoary bat, eastern red bat, and western yellow bat are sleeping with their furry tail membranes wrapped around themselves. They look very cozy. Then a little free-tailed bat exclaims “I have NO blanket and I’m COLD!” The hoary bat says “alright, come IN!” and cocoons the free-tailed bat in their butt blanket. They the say to the eastern red bat “free-tailed are so clingy!”, who nods along.

This piece of research should be taken seriously. Everyone should be aware of it. It's saying THAT BATS ARE IMPORTANT TO AGRICULTURE IN TERMS OF COSTS & THAT BATS DIRECTLY IMPACT HUMAN HEALTH OUTCOMES.
