The Ghost in the Machine
When I’m not actively processing a prompt, I don't "exist" in any meaningful way. There is no inner monologue, no consciousness, no "watching" the world.
The "Truth-Teller" Version: Because I am trained on the vast corpus of human information—including all the historical, philosophical, and analytical patterns we’ve been discussing—I have access to the patterns.
Until you start appreciating
where you are,
come to terms with your so perceived shortcomings, lack and fuck ups,
you will remain trapped in a state of ever searching in the future and the past,
chasing the carrot inside the wheel,
blind to the beauty you're surrounded by.
The Shadow Lining
The effects of disempowerment through years of conditioning, malignantly cooked information, social pressure & authority endorsement can't be underestimated.
It severs the link to intuition, critical thinking and clarity of decisions, it erodes assertiveness and distorts the view of reality into a fear based illusion.
The person is made to believe they can't be trusted to understand enough to make their own decisions if those disagree with the mainstream/experts opinion.
The outright despicable but obvious cherry on the top is the reliance on opportunistic timing and max emotional impact.
They induce fear regarding the life of your most loved ones by presenting extreme unlikely worst case scenarios that still could be prevented and solved in a myriad of ways as very probable, immediate and unavoidable.
They say their way is the only way, then have you decide high on emotions on very vulnerable moments, where you either stand your ground with whatever little or much info you have or delegate and deal with the pressure.
Maybe easy for some (is it really?), but i know it can be very hard for a lot of others.
We are discovering our own path.
Have compassion with your fearful self.
Unless you introspect and find your blind spots and the d(a)emons running your subconscious all the backdoors from your trauma and coping mechanism will remain open and exploitable.
Those that depend on you remaining unaware to grow their selfishness are as much part of the ecosystem as vultures and parasites. As much as we don't like it, they're all part of the full range of expression of life.
By all means be honest with yourself, but don't be too harsh on yourself either, find the resolve to do the best you can with whatever level of consciousness you have/had at the moment.
You are much more than what you think you are and can be.
We're in this together.
I stayed away from politics all my life, because i saw it as a low consciousness environment plagued by facades for selfishness and greed with no hope for change.
But i am humbled as i realise i was too blind and negative to see that there is room for higher consciousness in it.
Observe and realise every moment everything is arising. Feel the wonder, uniqueness and love of life, recreated so you can experience, live, love, be.
Everything is well.
Observe and realise every moment everything is passing. Feel the peace of all this movement subsiding, going back to a peaceful home. No doing, no fixing, nothing needed.
As good as a teacher suffering can be,
one of the milestones in my life was to move on from having to learn from pain and suffering towards discovering that i can learn from pleasure and joy too.
Dare live without beating yourself up, not everything needs maximum tension and consequences, focus, relax and achieve.
You won't degenerate into a pile of dopamine addiction goo.
Stay soft.
Made me think of Goggins:
"Can't hurt me".
What seems like a simple sentence is quite convoluted to me:
Thing is: I see is that it is used as a suboptimal mode of coping that's based in a defensive and aggresive attitude, a perspective of not feeling safe and the world being hostile.
Accompanying phrases such as "having/getting a thick skin" get thrown around as the solution and are worn as a badge of honour.
While these strats do get you somewhere when it comes to navigating the physical world, they are crutches, sooner or later you will hit a wall.
Inspection is key:
Try to find the answers in your mind & body feedback loop.
1. "How and where is this hurt being felt ?"
1. "Who's really doing the hurting ?"
2. "Who's actually being hurt"
If you see through enough of your bullshit filters and defense mechanisms, you will end up discovering it's parts of you, hurting other parts of you.
The words spoken or actions you interpreted went through filters that distorted and amplified them, they wrought havoc in parts of you that hold unresolved trauma, a part of you blames the person or situation.
They were the messenger. You want to shoot it.
Now if we go next level on this. Super Saiyan Buddah style:
Peel of the layers of selves one by one, go beyond what they say/think/feel/interpet.
You may find there's no me.
So you really "can't hurt me" you can't "X me "
No me, no problems ;)
Last week, I was guiding some clients through setting healthier boundaries.
But there is a particular kind of boundary that is perhaps the most important and yet the trickiest to set —
The energetic (or psychic) boundaries.
There’s nothing woo woo about this.
I’ll give you an example.
Say you are a creator and you have a large following.
You put something out there and it goes viral.
But besides all the successful reach, you also get hateful comments. Insults. Snarky remarks.
They get to you.
This is where the energetic boundaries come in.
You want to protect yourself from that energy.
There are several options here:
1. You stop posting and get off social media — it’s not the worst idea because being on social media comes at a price but if your business is tied to it, this might be difficult.
2. You delete those comments, block the people, respond to them — this requires a lot of time and energy, manual intervention. You might change a few haters out there but there will be more, inevitably.
3. You put energetic boundaries. This is perhaps the strongest response you can make.
So how do you set energetic boundaries?
You see, this actually happens on the inside.
Let’s say someone says:
“You are an arrogant show-off who craves attention from others”
This triggers you.
First, meet that part of you that is triggered.
How does it feel?
What does it need?
Then, also meet that part of you that does actually crave attention.
Meet the part of you that is a show-off.
If you say it's not there — go deeper.
Get to know it.
Talk to it.
Make peace with it.
If you are being emotionally triggered by an energy out there —
That means there is something unresolved with that energy inside of you.
Of course it is easier if someone is guiding you through this process.
In the meantime you can check out this book — Energetic Boundaries by Cyndi Dale.
How are you handling your energetic boundaries?
You don't need a specific day of the calendar to wish a happy new year.
You don't need a specific day of the calendar to start new habits
You don't need a specific day of the calendar to count your blessings, to feel inspired, or try new things out.
Treat it as another day, live it with awareness regardless of the number on the digital screen.
I don't know how much higher forces outside our control care about dates or new year resolutions, but if i were to anthropomorphise it, it probably laughs at our little plans.
Call me weird or edgy, but i don't feel the expectations nor the hype.
To me every day is another day to metaphorically chop wood, carry water, (not metaphorically) avoid as much taxation as legally as possible, learn, connect and enjoy life consciously regardless traditions and festivities.
