Japan reports that North Korea launched at least one ballistic missile toward the northeast. It reportedly reached an altitude of approximately 60 km and traveled 440 km before landing outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone in the Sea of Japan.
Japan, the U.S., and South Korea are coordinating to analyze the launch. Japanese authorities remain on high alert and are verifying the safety of aircraft and vessels.
