Replying to @alexandr_wang
@alexandr_wang said @Muse can make you $1,000. My receipt: Muse switched me from a $2,123 GEICO renewal to $1,536 at Progressive with BETTER COVERAGE ($1,174/yr saved), then Muse CALLED GEICO to cancel it for me. Then when GEICO asked for me, Muse called me, merged the call, and I was on the phone ~60 seconds to verify my identity and give my reason for cancellation. #MuseMoneyChallenge
The most entertaining outcome, especially if ironic, is most likely.
What if this is everyday life in 2042?
I made an anime short inspired by Elon Musk's vision of the future: robot cafés, Starbase, a Moon base and life on Mars.

For anyone using Grok Bot or Claude to make video edits, there are a few things nobody seems to be doing.
This is a small clip from an upcoming video of mine.
FIXES: graphics pinned to the screen instead of the scene, dark scenes that break into bands and blocks on X and YouTube, numbers that jiggle while they count, and soft shots that don't match the rest of the edit.
👾Graphics pinned to the screen instead of the scene
The top half of this video has its graphics pinned to the screen the way most edits do, and the bottom half has them locked to the world.
When the camera moves, a label that points at something stays where it was and the picture slides out from under it. NASA Ames tested this with pilots in 1995. Landing in a simulator, they took 2.5 seconds longer to react to a plane on the runway when their flight symbols were on the head-up display instead of the instrument panel. Their explanation was that symbols on the glass don't move the way the world outside does, and that difference pulls attention onto them. Their fix was to draw the symbols as objects in the world so they move with it, and pilots flew their path more accurately.
In an edit, that means tracking how the background moves in each shot, ignoring the people in it, and moving every graphic that points at something along with the camera. A label on a target follows the target, and titles and counters stay fixed.
👾Dark scenes that break into bands and blocks on X and YouTube:
X and YouTube compress what you upload, and the smooth gradients in dark footage turn into bands and blocks. The fix is to smooth those gradients before the grain goes on.
👾Numbers that jiggle while they count:
Counters jiggle because the digits in a lot of fonts are different widths, so the number shifts sideways as it counts. Putting each digit in a fixed-width slot keeps it still.
👾Soft shots that don't match the rest of the edit:
Measure the sharpness of every shot too. The softest one stands out next to the shots around it, and that's the one to regenerate.
A new bot called "Director," by Xi Yan, showed up in the Grok Bot Marketplace. It's a video director that takes a brief and plans, shoots, cuts and delivers short films, ads, explainers or music videos. Import it, it comes with a pack of video skills.

Getting close to consistent multi-scene animation with Grok Imagine + a ChatGPT harness.
ChatGPT plans shots and tracks continuity; Grok Imagine generates the animation.
Next: tighter cuts, transitions, and sound. This StarCraft × Warhammer fight is the latest test.
I with @bot and @grok had this harness out of the box. @elonmusk

Foldable iPhone Duo devices are reportedly breaking in large numbers, with displays failing along the hinge crease.
Buyers in Japan, China, Australia, and other countries have reported the same issue. In some cases, the display reportedly fails while the phone is still on display in stores.
The symptoms are identical: after just a few days of use, a black line appears across the screen.
Making the ASCII MMORPG of my dreams!
Polishing the visuals. I figured out how to add normal maps to the assets, which will make the world feel more alive. Also made the river flow more realistic.

Pou chèf gang yo ak manm gang yo k ap kenbe kat konpatriyòt nou yo an otaj ann Ayiti:
Nou deja fini ak gang yo nan El Salvador, e nou kapab fini ak nou tou.
Nou toujou gen tan pou evite sa.
Remèt nou kat konpatriyòt nou yo vivan, san okenn mal, epi tout bagay ap retounen jan sa te ye anvan kidnaping lan.
Desizyon an nan men nou.

In response to the eMudhra / emSign certificate security incident we've published guidance for Python users to update CA certificates: discuss.python.org/t/informa…

discuss.python.org/t/informa…
October has been an absolute nightmare for software security.
• Railway: potential exposure of customer secrets
• LiteLLM: compromised release
• OVHcloud CLI: official downloads replaced with malware
• Rank Math PRO: malware distributed through an official download
• ConnectWise: backup application credentials abused to access customer environments
• GhostAction: malicious GitHub workflows targeting developer secrets
• Node.js: security updates announced for supported release lines, with high-severity vulnerabilities
• eMudhra: compromised certificate authority keys, prompting emergency action across browsers and tools, including Tailscale
The systems we trust to build, deploy, secure, and back up our software are becoming entry points.
Your application can pass every functional test while a compromised dependency or stolen CI credential puts the entire environment at risk.
For QA and engineering teams, release integrity, permissions, and secrets handling belong in the definition of quality.
“Works as expected” is only part of the job.
Just used LiteLLM to create my first PHP website. The AI even suggested getting a certificate from eMudhra for HTTPS to protect my login page. The future looks really bright. And the best part, just have some old node js installed already to manage all the packages.

⚠️ Node.js is vulnerable to remote code execution.
CVE-2026-111497 (high): A Node.js process that decompresses attacker-controlled Brotli data can be made to leak memory or run arbitrary code.
You’re exposed if your app or a library decompresses bad Brotli data (e.g. the built-in fetch(), body-parser)
Aikido detects this. Patches are available.
