revived a moonlander that i thought wasn't working, turned out it just had a bad firmware flash at some point for the software, the workbench is great for testing all the functionality in a guided way, every feature is working well (including some i didn't even know about) the rest is just for aesthetics sake honestly we live in interesting times

needs to speak like this more
but only because...i actually do want the world to have tons of memory and people to put as much as they want in their computers, and it is fucking annoying that this was taken out of context. i have been arguing for the world to ramp up memory production for a long time.

custom orchestration of many agents from different vendors at different reasoning levels communicating to deliver a full GPUI port of quite a large electron-based application, no worktrees or branches, delivered as a single change this is from a ui made to replay those sessions

I got black pilled after getting laid off, eventually overcame that, and now I'm building some of the coolest stuff I've ever worked on Genuinely don't black pill, lock in on optimism, and bring things to life that you never thought you would
Don't get black pilled It's truly not worth it

Good art is dictatorial in nature The absolute worst thing you can do to a great creative idea is to democratize it, and get too many opinions on it, too many people working on it The best art comes from one person having totalitarian control, relentlessly pursuing their vision

maybe why i've found muse wonder full to be exceptional at coordinating other agents
[DROPPED] Meta's Muse Wonder is the friendliest AI model, and the biggest suck-up

Nevermind terra is pretty good
Deepseek flash 1017 is genuinely a better model than any of the garbage that OpenAI is peddling

Introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, it's a big jump over Argon which we released just 2 weeks ago. Gemini 4 Carbon is SOTA on cyber, long horizon tasks, ranks #1 on Artificial Analysis V5, significantly improves on usability in domains like coding, and is more aligned.

terra is truly all gas no brakes for tool use
don't be so quick to undervalue models that are a convenient mix of less dumb + not as smart + fast

tech desperately needs a new design aesthetic we literally have agi now and flying cars but every ui looks the same with this apple/linear minimalist rounded corner tailwind shadcn slop look we’re not thinking big enough on how things should look and feel chatting with an agent should look and make me feel like i’m living in the future it should make me feel hope and awe and optimism that humanity actually got to agi and it will lead to unimaginable prosperity it should make me tap into my 9 year old self, who wondered if we’d *ever* have talking humanoid robots, and make me feel totally amazed by the realization that this future is not even a possibility now, it is a CERTAINTY! the time is so ripe now the coding agents have gotten so good that we can be experimenting and playing with new ideas 100x faster than before now is the time for excessive experimentation

the second most used CLI by my agents, after ripgrep piping stuff to tail looks fine except the suite fails, tail exits 0. q keeps the exit code, prints the first error + tail, and stores the rest in a log to avoid re-runs used it on ripgrep, hono, flask and express. 14.7x less tokens than dumping the raw output, it still caught every failure. (tail -50 missed one, making the agent burn another turn on it)

Been updating this site throughout the day, started with around 75 interesting finds, now am at 462 demos covering 425 libraries in 23 sections! Get some webdev inspiration at webdev.teknium.io/
Someone showed me this new JS Library for dithering visualizations so I gave it to Hermes Agent, said make me a webpage full of demos for all the lesser known cool styles and components libraries out there. In 20 minutes it did, and there's some amazing stuff it found. This webgl fluid library is so sick. Check it out here: webdev.teknium.io/

Yes we shipped light mode. Yes it was under duress.

only way to go
benchmarkmaxxing in AI is unexpectedly worse than benchmarks in crypto. all the best devs i know still need to vibe-eval i.e. daily drive something for a few days to get a sense of how good or bad it is. all the slop i see on twitter is just hurting the dev community.
