Chip Zdarsky hasn't gotten enough criticism for his handling of Sam Wilson's Captain America in Avengers: Armageddon. The event literally revolves around a prior Captain America successor and he does nothing to explore their relationship. He just uses Bucky to shelve him.

And that honestly sounds more compelling as a T'Challa pitch than a Sam Wilson pitch. I enjoyed my time with his work, I just think... Frankly... Those concepts took space away from things, like, establishing new villains for SamCap, new settings, etc.
