The Republican National Committee is firing back at claims that both parties play the spoiler candidate game, after a New York Times report detailed how aides linked to Democrat Mary Peltola's campaign and the DSCC worked to place a retired teacher named Dan J. Sullivan on the ballot — an apparent effort to siphon votes from the real Sen. Dan Sullivan.
RNC election integrity communications director Ally Triolo said in an interview with Fox News Digital the committee had been sounding the alarm for months.
"They need to be held accountable to the fullest extent," she said.
