Imagine if your phone was the only way to pay for things and then someone invented the credit card. No battery, slim, waterproof, practically indestructible.
why do ppl carry around wallets still? i haven't carried a physical wallet for few years now. my pockets just have two things: iphone + airpods. you no longer really need anything else to interact with the world.

As someone else pointed out on here (sorry, I forget who) he's called an actress, because woke, but actual actresses are called 'actors' because woke

#Horrific. #TipOfIceberg. Just found out that 25.7% of all the international nurses and doctors joining the #NHS last year – that's over 5,000 people – didn't even take the proper English test. They came in through a new route where the hospital just signs them off after 12 months working here. No IELTS. No OET. Just a manager's say-so. Before, you had to pass the English exam BEFORE you could treat patients. Now you can work on the wards for a year, then get your qualifications signed off while you're here ! Deaths are happening now because of incompetent - but cheap doctors !

It's time for 100% of all professors and college tutors to have their credentials checked independently. It seems that even the most obvious hoodwinking was ignored and accepted. How many more do we have in our education system?

Er hello? Is anyone in government capable of raising this? In 1986 Lake Nyos in Cameroon had a sudden release of only 1.2 million tonnes of CO₂ … which killed 1,746 people and 3,500 animals overnight. That’s just 4% of the CO₂ Ed Milibands plans to store in the U.K. a YEAR! The risks of storing 30 MILLION tonnes of CO₂ PER YEAR!!! For 100 years, in an underground experiment are insane. But you banned fracking 🤡

Asylum seekers will have to stay here unless they pay their bills?! Cruel and unusual punishment.
Replying to @PolitlcsUK
The Immigration and Asylum Bill, to be introduced tomorrow, will give the Home Office powers to recover costs from asylum seekers who’ve received support and accommodation  A flat charge will be set, paid back monthly, mainly through direct payments or the tax and benefits system. Full repayment will be needed before settlement and anyone who leaves the UK would have to clear what they owe to return The total is expected to be around £10,000  Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood exclusively told Politics UK: "Asylum seekers will now be required to contribute towards the cost of their asylum support and accommodation. "It is only fair that those who can afford it repay this country's generosity. "This is how we are restoring fairness, order and control to our asylum system"

One thing I never understand. Why don’t people PROTEST at the actual specific offices/government building that hands out visas/papers/passports/asylum claims to foreigners for example?

Her verdict was farcial because it was decided by a judge not a jury... yet... she just voted to scrap jury trials.
A 🇧🇩 court has ordered the arrest of @UKLabour MP Tulip Siddiq. She was convicted of multiple counts of corruption. But… she thinks that the verdict is farcical because she was found guilty by a judge and not a jury. She also supports the removal of trial by jury in the UK. 🤦🏻‍♂️

The Government should drastically cut tax on alcohol in pubs and restaurants and pay for it by hiking taxes on alcohol for off sales. Social drinking is more of a social good than private drinking.

Officially I've only been in Italy for just under 5 years and I have to wait another 5 before I can apply for citizenship. I'll probably also have to improve my Italian fluency further. If I eventually succeed, I will immediately start agitating for open borders and for more English people to be brought into Italy. I will accuse Italians of making "racist food" (no meat pies or bangers and mash) and I'll demand everything is translated into English. I'll hold protest marches where English people bravely explore the Italian countryside, to "tackle bigotry". I also intend to open thousands of Greggs knock-offs, like 5 in every town, which will be blatant money-laundering fronts. Furthermore I intend to promote atheism via loud readings of the writings of Richard Dawkins every morning at 7 a.m, blasted through loudspeakers.
