The final days of campaigning in Ohio have become consumed with two things: the ad and the ass.
No one can stop talking about Ramaswamy's ad featuring Amy Acton's estranged mother. His support has cratered since it went public. Multiple internal polls showing a mid- to high single-digit deficit (was a margin of error race).
Per the internals, Husted's support has been relatively unaffected, but there's a fear it could ultimately drag him down. Still margin of error there.
They also can't stop talking about Husted's rear end. As Bernie Moreno put it:
“I was meeting with the president on Saturday and literally my Uber driver asked me where I’m from. I said Ohio, and he said, ‘Oh, is that the senator that the president commented on his ass?' I was like, 'Oh my god.'"

News: Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy has become a key ally to Jim Jordan and has been working behind the scenes as an informal advisor to the House Judiciary Chair.
One time foes, the two now speak often and have discussed the contours of a potential leadership bid from Jordan.
Should Republicans lose the majority, it is expected there will be a heated battle for minority leader between Jordan, House Speaker Mike Johnson and House Majority Leader Steve Scalise.

Senate Rs have a surrogate on the trail who couldn't be more in vogue these days: John Kennedy.
He's stumping all over for Rs in these final weeks. At one recent event in Mich., Mike Rogers waited to talk to press until Kennedy finally stopped kibitzing with event attendees.

At the 1st stop on the KS GOP bus tour, Roger Marshall got out of a separate car, boarded the bus, then walked off the bus waving to supporters
After he spoke, an event organizer tells me he left thru the back door of the venue in a separate car again
Marshall called Hamilton “the most radical liberal Democrat to ever make it thru a primary in the state of Kansas.”
