your friend is not responsible in giving you that attention. you should not be ever spiraling to a friend threatening suicide. the only people who can actually handle that is therapists, if ur friend is comfortable with it go for it. but putting someone in that position is cruel
this big debate with bpd making ppl think “oh so i shouldn’t reach out to my friends and ask for help” ofc you can but spamming them and guilt tripping them because they can’t help you through episodes (which can be very intense and scary especially for your friends!)
i don’t suicide bait and i don’t guilt trip. i own it. and before someone says “well i can’t get treatment” i haven’t been in therapy in years. i have done my own research, looked up dbt, taught myself coping mechanisms. it’s hard ofc but i hated the way i was acting before
