I næste måned skal jeg vidne mod den kendte muslimske debattør Mohamed Abdi Kahn.
Årsagen er, at han sidste år kom med trusler mod mig og min daværende arbejdsplads, B.T.
Truslerne kom i kølvandet på, at jeg havde skrevet en afslørende artikel om en topfigur i Hizb ut-Tahrir.
Det fik Mohamed Abdi Kahn til i en kommentar på Facebook at anklage mig og B.T. for at “krænke” og “angribe” det, han kaldte “vores brødre og søstre”.
“Muslimske brødre i DK skal faktisk komme sammen, lave en plan og bekæmpe dem. Vi kan stoppe dem, og det skal vi gøre på den hårde og smertefulde måde,” fortsatte han.
I en anden kommentar skrev Mohamed Abdi Kahn, at “nu søger vi deres personlige informationer og adresser, så vores muslimske brødre kan bruge det”.
“Vi har nu personlige informationer om Claes Kirkeby Theilgaard og de bliver snart offentliggjort til relevante personer,” skrev han kort herefter.
De kommentarer har nu ført til, at Mohamed Abdi Kahn er tiltalt for offentlig tilskyndelse til forbrydelse efter straffelovens paragraf 136, stk. 1.
Retssagen finder sted den 27. oktober, og anklagemyndigheden går efter fængselsstraf.
Men uanset hvad retten måtte nå frem til, er jeg glad for at leve i et land, hvor myndighederne tager den her slags sager alvorligt.
Desværre er Mohamed Abdi Kahns trussel blot en ud af flere, jeg har modtaget som følge af mit journalistiske arbejde.
Personligt har jeg for længe siden besluttet mig for, at jeg ikke vil lade mig kue.
Derfor fortsætter jeg også ufortrødent.

This does not make India’s infrastructure push a failure. China faced its own “tofu-dreg project” crisis during the construction boom of the 1990s. It gradually strengthened supervision and introduced lifetime responsibility, allowing officials and engineers to be pursued even after retirement or transfer. Serious quality problems can appear when construction expands faster than the institutions governing it.
That comparison brings us back to India’s central contradiction. The government has demonstrated an impressive capacity to mobilise money and launch large projects, while weak accountability limits their wider economic effect. When failed contractors continue to receive work and inauguration dates dictate construction schedules, higher public spending may struggle to create the reliable infrastructure that encourages firms to invest. India’s infrastructure boom is real. Its political returns arrive at the opening ceremony. its economic returns depend on how the project performs for years afterwards.

France has always been the fly in the soup. Possibly the colonial era thrashings it received made it more stubborn & wretched that WWII drilled in, and the Marshall Aid Plan helped cement. It is typically low-life & incapable but then aligns with Shudraism as its but (in French).
American alliances have survived ugly crises before. But Suez, the Nixon shock or France’s break with NATO command all happened inside a system Washington still wanted to run. Today, the bargain itself is being repriced, how much America owes its allies, and how much it is still willing to pay to maintain the order.
The proposed answer is “allied scale”, allies should become stronger and do more.The contradiction goes deeper. Washington cannot make the old order less reliable, ask its friends to pay more to keep it running, and still expect them to treat American leadership as the natural price of friendship. If they are paying more for the system, they will eventually ask why Washington should still set the terms.
A marriage can survive because of the house, the children and the shared assets. That proves divorce is costly. It tells you much less about what the marriage has become.
The country that once had the strongest incentive to sustain this order is already less willing to bear its costs, yet many still assume that once Trump is gone, the old normal will return. Maybe it will. But a more chaotic world may produce the opposite: the next American president could be even more Trump than Trump. Waiting for the old America to come back may itself be the most dangerous illusion.

In 2009, The famous Italian diver Enzo Maiorca dived into the sea near Syracuse. He was with his daughter Rosana on the boat. While diving, he felt a light blow on his back.
He turned around and saw a dolphin. He realized that the dolphin didn't want to play but was trying to communicate something. The animal dove down, and Enzo followed. At a depth of about 15 meters, another dolphin was trapped in an abandoned net.
Maiorca quickly asked his daughter for the diving knife. In a few minutes, they managed to free the dolphin, who let out an "almost human cry" as Maiorca described it.
A dolphin can survive underwater for up to 10 minutes before suffocating. After being freed, still dazed, the dolphin, Enzo, Rosana, and the first dolphin resurfaced. Then it turned out to be a female dolphin who gave birth to a baby dolphin shortly afterward.
The dolphin father made a circle, swam to Enzo, touched his face like a kiss, as a gesture of gratitude... and swam away.
After everything that had happened, Enzo said: "Until man learns to respect nature and communicate with the animal world, he will never know his true role on Earth!"
