Our engineers have been fanboying over this episode with Vercel founder @rauchg all week. I asked him how he’s built this much loyalty and trust with developers. “Trust is gonna be one of the most valuable moats for a post-AGI business.” But he says “trust is an output, not an input.” Meetups and any tactic you can point to “probably ain’t it.” What earns it is the unglamorous work: security, fixing bugs, simplicity, great documentation. This week on Library of Minds, the legend Guillermo Rauch joins us to talk about competing with AWS, selling to agents, building verification loops for agent evals, deciding which SaaS tools to replace, and raising his “six sub-agents” (his kids) in an AI world. 0:39 - How to Compete With a Giant (AWS) 5:38 - One Person Doing the Work of Thousands 17:15 - Trust Is the Moat After AGI 24:24 - You’re Not Confronting Enough Pain 25:54 - His Slack Channel Called “Scream” 27:46 - Your Next Customer Is an Agent 30:05 - How to Sell to Agents 37:05 - The Future Is Just Capital Allocation 47:30 - The Night His House Caught Fire 49:50 - Raising Six Sub-Agents (His Kids)

Somewhere right now someone is scrolling a website we built. Watching a game under a brand we designed. Registering for an event through a platform we developed. That never gets old. New reel. Proud of our team @wheelhouse_llc and the work we put into the world.
New reel. New work. Same standard. We don't design to decorate. We design to move things forward. Traffic, conversions, perception. If the work doesn't perform, it doesn't matter how polished it looks. We Build Brand Momentum. This is Wheelhouse.

Waze is one feature away from saving cyclists' lives. They already crowdsource potholes, police, and crashes. What if they added cyclist reporting? Same model. Same network effect. Just a new layer of awareness. @waze ? I mocked up what it could look like. Thoughts?

My Concept: Strava "AI Mode" Imagine a new tab where the interface shifts from a feed to a conversation. Instead of just seeing that you hit a PR, you can ask why.

dentify Weaknesses: "It looks like your cadence dropped significantly in the final 200m compared to your fastest time." Actionable Plans: "Build me a 4-week interval plan to shave 15 seconds off this specific segment."

Right now, Strava is the best place to record what you did. With an AI layer, it could become the best place to figure out what you should do next. I mocked up a few screens in Figma to visualize how this conversational layer could live natively inside the app.

Donald Trump announced he will place a 90-day pause on some tariffs, walking back his announcement last week. The move led to a surge in stocks, including sports apparel stocks like Nike, Adidas, and Lululemon, which all saw their shares pummeled last week.

10 things the Republicans have done in the last month 1. The official White House account posted this horrifying video with the caption: “ASMR: Illegal Alien Deportation Flight.” As you watch, I want you to imagine the depravity of the entire Republican Party to post a video that glorifies this cruelty. When mass deportations happen, people die. Families are separated. Children are bullied. Some grow up orphans.
